With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Dobos (Oakland, Maine), born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 15, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Dobos and John Dobos of Leechburg, PA.. He is survived by: his children, John Dobos III (Hannah) of Opelika Al, Kathryn Dobos of Wayne, ME, Alexis Dobos of Portland, ME and Anna; and his grandchildren, John Dobos IV of Opelika, AL, Virginia Dobos of Wayne, LJ Dobos of Wayne and Micah Dobos of Wayne.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Chip's love and commitment to his children, grandchildren and all those with neurodiversity, we ask donations to be made to the Autism Society of Maine.
