It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Greta Hanson of Oakland, Maine, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Orville Hanson (Jake); her children, Raymond (Teresa) of Vanceboro, Stacy Monk (Bill) of Vanceboro, Gail McIver of Mt Dora, FL, Vickie Massey (Jeff) of Oakland and Baby Joanne; her grandchildren, Kimberly Pinnette and Jeffrey Monk; and her adoptive parents, Arno Scott and Eva Scott (Cote) of Vanceboro, Maine.. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A heartfelt thanks goes out to the incredible staff at Westgate Rehab and Alzheimer Center in Bangor, who cared for her over the past few years; with special mention to Heather, Jolene, and Ruth in the Acadia Unit for loving our mom. Bangor- It is with sadness and peaceful hearts, the children of Greta L. Hanson of Oakland, announce her passing from this world due to Alzheimer's Disease at 94 years old and onto her greatest journey on November 17, 2022.
