She was predeceased by: her parents, John Asmussen and Marion Asmussen; and her brothers, Dean and Don. She is survived by: her husband Doug; her sister Diane McDowell (Howard); and her nieces, Sheryl McDowell Kelley, Kristen McDowell, Maxine Asmussen and Tessa Zito.
