It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Davis Meader (Oakland, Maine), born in Solon, Maine, who passed away on May 16, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Everett; and her brothers, Harrison Davis, Richard Davis and Pauline Davis. She is survived by: her parents, Isaac Davis and Arra Davis; her sons, Dick (Betty-Jane) of Waterville, Bob (Pam) of Portland, Bruce (Joe DiLorenzo) of Saco and Don (Melissa) of Oakland; her grandchildren, Lance (Amy), Daren (Jennifer Banks), Lindsay (Brian Ross), Derek (Kara), Suzanne (Aaron Berthiaume), Justin (Katrina Seeley) and Trevor (Adam Courcy); her siblings, Alice Heald, Beverly Shaughnessy and Isaac Davis Jr.; her friend Jim Tolman; and also, Norma Gorham and Frances Savage.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oakland-Sidney United Methodist Church in memory of Arlene, 20 West School St., Oakland, ME 04963.
