He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Tripp and Ruth Tripp (Fletcher Leonard); his daughter Dawn Marie; and his brothers, Leland, Vern, Phil Tripp, George "Tinker" and Bert Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Douglas; his sons, Bob Jr. (Deb), Rick, Dennis (Mo) and Dwight (Shannon); his grandsons, Dan and Kevin; his brother Charles (Cora); and his sister-in-law Nancy Tripp. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
