It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Tyler of Northeast Harbor, Maine, born in Ellsworth, Maine, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard E. Young and Kathleen Young (Gray); her husband Gary Tyler; her children, Sally Hulme (Tony) of West Simsbury, CT. and Jonathan Tyler of Sparks, NV; and her siblings, Neal Young and Geneva Sylvester. She was also cherished by five grandchildren and one great grandson.
