He is survived by: his parents, Arthur Murphy and Catherine Ambrose Murphy; his wife Megan Murphy of North Waterboro; his children, Justin Murphy of Saco, Eric Murphy of Yarmouth, Michael Ouellette of Newry and Amy Ouellette of Biddeford; his brother James Murphy (Diane) of Buxton; and his grandchildren, Connor, Alison, Caroline and Luca. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
