He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Achorn Adams and Forrest Clifford Adams; and his brother Ted Adams. He is survived by: his son Arnold, Jr.; his grandchildren, Zack and Jesse; his stepdaughter Lindsy; his children, Angela (Sherwood Hamill) and Alan; his grandchildren, Easton and Adriana; his siblings, Gerald (Diane) and Belinda; his friend Steve Cook; and also Kelly Adams. He is also survived by great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
