With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Keith Place of North Berwick, Maine, born in Sanford, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Place; his children, Christine, Melissa, Michael (Denise) and Kenneth (Leslie); his grandchildren, Katie (Benjamin), Matthew (Adrianne), Nicholas, Dylan, Moriah (Joshua) and Keana; and his great grandchildren, Lila, Maci, Skylar, Ashlyn, Maggie and Luke. He is also survived by siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews.
The family requests donations to the American Legion or VFW in lieu of flowers with the memo "in Memory of Robert Place" for the establishment of a memorial scholarship in his honor.
