It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Priscilla Poore of North Berwick, Maine, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mortimer C. Hemenway and Florence Hemenway (Ashworth); and her siblings, Paul Hemenway, Richard Hemenway, Lindley Hemenway and Betty Leblanc.
She is survived by: her former husband Merton E. Poore of Auburn; her children, Wendy Cowan (Stanley) of North Berwick, Alan Poore (Cynthia) of Lebanon and David Poore (Lisa Ryan) of North Berwick; her grandchildren, Christopher Cowan, Jordana Thompson, Zachary Poore, Eli Poore, Justin Poore and Nathan Poore; her great grandchildren, Hattie, Ella, Holden Poore and Emerson Thompson; and her husband S. Army.
For those wishing to honor Priscilla's memory, the family suggests donations to the MVH Activity Fund, c/o Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough, Maine, to support activities benefitting veterans.
