He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Best and Barbara M. Best (Chick); and his siblings-in-law, Janice Best, Linda Ridlon and Wesley Ridlon, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Best (Austin); his daughters, Jolene D. Best (Brian Neilsen) of North Berwick and Kelsey B. Morin (Edmond Morin III) of Lee, ME; his brother Barry Best of Gilmanton, NH; and his grandson Gregory Morin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
