With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. McGuire Jr. of North Berwick, Maine, who passed away on January 25, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha McGuire (Auburn) and James J. McGuire Sr.; his wife Betty A. McGuire; his son Timothy J. McGuire; his siblings, John McGuire, Roberta Goins, Joan McGuire and Alicia McGuire; and his brother-in-law Rodney G. Brock.
He is survived by: his children, James J. McGuire III (Simalay) of Rindge, N. H., Maureen M. Timony (Dennis) of Nottingham, N. H. and Patrick K. McGuire of West Newbury, Mass.; his brother Edward P. McGuire of Topsham; his sisters-in-law, Joan M. Caron (Robert) of Medway, Mass., Beverly Aubuchon (David) of Whidbey Island, Wash., Priscilla Brock of Hampton, NH and Geraldine McGuire of Orlando, Fla.; and also Christine McGuire of Georgetown, Mass..
In lieu of flowers the family of James would appreciate donations be made to the or the Hyder Family Hospice Home in Dover, NH: Donation – Friends of Hyder Family Hospice House or to the Alzheimer's Association.
