He was predeceased by: his father Merle R. Chapin. He is survived by: his mother Dorris Cole Emery of North Berwick; and his siblings, Marjorie R. Chapin of North Berwick, Kathleen J. Chapin (Wayne E. Berry) of Kennebunk and Peter D. Emery of Portsmouth, NH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Another Chance Animal Rescue in Sanford and North Berwick Maine.
