It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Magoon of North Anson, Maine, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Magoon and Dorothy Magoon (Day); his wife Patricia Magoon; his children, Valerie Herbert (James) of Ellsworth, Tim Magoon (Kathy) of Old Town, Lisa Brannan (Patrick) of Maybell, CO, Frank Magoon (Julie) of Carrabassett Valley and Laurie Soucik (Chuck); his sisters, Judy Gamble (Robert) and Patricia Magoon of Meridan, CT; his cousin Betty Lou Prescott of Palmyra, PA; his grandchildren, Devon Murdock, Neacail Murdock, Megan Randlett (Josh), Matt Herbert (Emily) and Andrew Herbert; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Murdock, Hannah and Sadie Randlett. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
