He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Shaw and Leona Shaw (Morton); and his brother Leland Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Shaw; his son Rodney D. Shaw Jr.; his stepdaughters, Tammy Goulette and Ellimay Ham; his siblings, Francis "Pinky" (Hilda), Steven (Brenda Shaw), Marilyn Willey and Anita Pike (Bonnie); his sister-in-law Donna Shaw; and his pets, Patches Sunshine and Gidget Pumpkin. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
