He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delbert Franklin and Stella Franklin (Grant); his wife Hazel Fraser; his children, Ruth York-McCarthy of Kennebunkport, Delbert (Jean Franklin) of Canaan and Doug (Diane Franklin) of Newport; and his grandchildren, Christopher York, Nicole Johnson, Cassie Mullin, Megan Smith, Jason, Andrew and Zachary Franklin. He was also cherished by 5 great grandchildren.
