Rick McInnis wrote a sympathy message

“To Mike's family, Mike was probably one of the best friends I've ever had in my lifetime. He truly was full of life. Its so sad that he'll never get the time to spend in his dream house. He was a kind and sensitive man with a great sense of humor. We used to take each other to Doctors appointments< although it seemed he took me more often>. He was always ready to help people out. We'd go out to eat together often< I took him to his first Ruby Tuesday>. My wife was extremely fond of him also. He was a truly wonderful person and he will be deeply missed. He will always hold a very special place in our hearts.”
