We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2022, at the age of 85, Malcolm Murray Jr. of Newport, Maine, born in Dexter, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm M. Murray and Harriet "Madeline" Murray (White) of Newport. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Charles Murray of Limington, Malcolm M. Murray, II of Lufkin, TX, James Roberts of Ogunquit, Lou Ann Edwards of Buxton, Kathleen P. DeAngelo of Pomfret, CT and Nancy Menard of Charlton, MA; and his brothers, Michael A. Murray of Bath and Jon P. Murray of Yarmouth. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Due to Covid concerns masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Newport Fire & Rescue, earmarked for the new ambulance, c/o Town Office, 27 Water Street, Newport, ME 04953, in memory of Malcolm or please give the gift of life by donating blood to your local Red Cross blood bank.
