He is survived by: his wife Maxine Burnham; his grandchildren, Brian Thompson of South Carolina, Katie Thompson of Texas and Lindsay Diehl of Bangor; and his siblings, Milton of Newport, Kenny of Arkansas, Kendall of Dixmont and Linda Leonard of Newport.
