She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Quincy Smith and Pauline Smith (Gould); her husband Peter Podziak; her daughters, Deborah Briggs of Newport and Lorrell Frost of Newport; her brothers, Wayne (Julie Smith) of Florida and Eugene (Margaret Smith) of California; her son Douglas Batchelder; and her brothers, Jim and Richard Smith. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
