It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Vance formerly of Newport, Maine, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Vance and Geneva Vance (Russell); his stepfather George Smith; and his sisters, Elizabeth and Sonya Sue.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Stanclift of Derry, NH, Ronald of Derry, NH, Joey of Derry, NH, Michael Vance of Derry, NH and Shirley Blackmon of Fort Walton, FL; and his siblings, David (Shirley) of Newport, Linda Jackson of Newport and Georgieanna McKenney of Hartland. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
