He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Tryphena; his sister Roma Laurell (Gunnar); his niece Christine Laurell; his brother Albert; and his father-in-law Maxwell Bradley.

He is survived by: his sons, Clinton (Christina) and Chad; his grandchildren, Maxwell and August; his mother-in-law Nora Bradley; his sisters, Queena Healey (Ronald) and Vera Deraps (Michael); his sister-in-law Florrie Moss; his niece Cathy Moss (Gary Powell); his brothers-in-law, Fred Bradley (Roberta) and Angus Bradley (Deanne); and his wife Gloria (Newfoundland Power).

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Holy Cross Church or the Holy Cross Cemetery committee.
