He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Foster Cowan and Mavis Cowan (Spinney); his wife Marianne Cowan (Henderson) of Newport; his stepdaughter Jodi Weymouth; his granddaughter Jasmine Morrow of St. Albans; his niece Robin (Michael Chase) of Palmyra; his nephew Shawn Hurlburt of Dixmont; his great-niece Katelyn Wright of Pittsfield; his great grandchildren, Evan and Greyson; and his sister Carolee (Gailen Hurlburt).
