He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Small and Edythe Small (White); his former wife Joan; his sons, Brady and Scott; his grandson Steven Parlin; and his brother Rodney.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Small (Harding) of Newport; his children, Denver (Karen Small) of Pittsfield and Stacy Small of Skowhegan; his stepdaughter Kimberly (Aaron Patterson) of Indiana; and his sister Rosalie (Thomas O'Shea) of Australia. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
