She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Lawler and Virgie Lawler (Shorey); her husband Ruel Guy Butler; her daughter Dawn Ruland; her grandsons, Travis Butler and Kevin Wayne Butler; and her daughters-in-law, Audrey Butler and Carolyn Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Butler (Candace) of St. Albans, Wayne Butler of Wellington and Donna L. Vicnaire (Linwood) of St. Albans; her siblings, James Lawler of Harmony and Waneta Withee of St. Albans; and her grandchildren, Paula Pinkham, Jeffery Butler, Tara Cates, Scott Vicnaire, Roland Vicnaire, Tammy Luce, Shawn Vicnaire, Schuyler Vicnaire and James Vicnaire. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
