He was predeceased by: his aunt Jackie; his uncle Charles; and his sibling Sandy. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his daughters, Mindy Martin (Dean) of Bucksport, Patty Kennedy (Larry) of Detroit, Stacy York (Paul) of Virginia and Tracy Kempton (Richard Jr.) of Plymouth; and his grandchildren, Elzadie (Steven), Elva Jane (John), Heather (Peter), Jenny (Kevin), Mandy (Josh) and Blaine. He is also survived by 4 sisters.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crosby and Neal Funeral Home (117 Main St, Newport, ME 04953). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
