We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2023, at the age of 89, Carolyn Penney (Newport, Maine), born in Perham, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Dunphy and Nettie Dunphy (Merrill); her son David; and her siblings, Samuel, Charles, Dale, Augustus, Ralph, Wallace Dunphy, Wilma Reynolds, Olive Greene and Julie Goddard.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Barrettt of Florida and Dale Penney of Alaska; her sister Jacquelyn (Bernard Williams) of Pittsfield; her grandchildren, Daniel Chamberlain, Dominic (Sandy Chamberlain), Amanda (Frank Turner III), Seth Penney, Richard (Jordan Barrett), Matthew Barrett (Caroline Van Ness), Dylan (Peyton Penney) and David Penney II; her great grandchildren, Makaela, Kierstin, Cheyenne, Aryanna, Logan, Ryleigh, Brayden, Brantley, Braxton, Addalyn and Wes; and her great great grandchild Karlyle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
