She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel LaBelle and Mary LaBelle (Spaulding); her husband Stanley Ray Smith; her son Timothy Stevens; and her brothers, James, Louis and Dan.
She is survived by: her children, Aaron Stevens (Leslie) of Pittsfield, Barbara Smith of Augusta, Stacy Castonguay (Kevin) of Stetson, Stanley Smith, Jr. (Tee), Thomas Stevens of Bangor, Charles Smith (Charlotte) and Yvette Feirce (Eric); and her siblings, Ellen Wood, Timothy LaBelle, Joan Henault (William) and John LaBelle (Donna). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
