We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Clyde E. Allen (New Sharon, Maine), born in Farmington, Maine. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Eleanor Allen (Odell); his niece Theresa Dame (Rick) of Farmington; his siblings, John, Herbert, Richard, Barbara and Kathryn; and his sister-in-law Caroline Allen.

He is survived by: his wife Anita Allen of New Sharon; his children, Wendy Harvey (Keith) of Farmington and Rodney Allen of Chesterville; his grandchildren, Derek Allen of New Sharon, Michael Browning of Jay, Kristopher Allen of Wilton, Cody Allen of Milo, Jana Browning of New Sharon and Megan Paz of Slidell, LA; his great grandchildren, Jayden Harriman of New Sharon, Zavier Paz, Zayden Paz of Slidell, LA, Kallie Allen of Jay and Lyla Allen of Jay; his siblings, David Allen of West Farmington, Philip Allen (Melissa) of Temple, Diane Priest of North Anson and Pat Soule (Barton) of Dayton; his siblings-in-law, Michael Butterfield (Carol) of Augusta, Dennis Butterfield (Barbara) of Chesterville, Arlo White of Fairbanks, ME, Ruby Allen, Sharon Allen and Shirley Allen; and also Lisa Savage of Chesterville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Clyde's memory may be made to the New Sharon Fire and Rescue, c/o Jeff Brackett, 68 Main St., New Sharon, ME 04955.

“Clyde, how sad to hear of your passing. When we met 45 years ago, both of us were in a broken marriage. I believe we helped each other heal. You made the right decision to repair the break. I am so sorry for the pain i must have caused Anita.. But knowing i helped you, is satisfying”
