He was predeceased by : his son Curt. He is survived by : his sister Jill; his brother-in-law Kenneth; his children, Daniel and Kristin; his grandchildren, Emilia, Meagan and Andrew; and his nephews, Bill and Jim.

In lieu of flowers, Jim requested that donations be made to the music program of St. Peter's by the Sea, Bay Shore, NY.
