He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Spizuoco and Donna Spizuoco (Charles); and his brother James "Butchie" Spizuoco. He is survived by: his close friend Karen (Whitlock); his wife Karen; his children, Samantha Hayes (Ryan) of Naples, James (Danielle), Nina Ross (Joseph) of Bridgton and Rocco (Victoria Adams) of Portland; his grandchildren, Hailey, Makayla, Everett, Charlotte, Connor, Amelia, Finnegan and Oscar; and his siblings, Donna "Sissy" Beattie (David) of Portland and John "Bub" (Karen) of Wakefield. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Donations in his honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
