He was predeceased by: his parents, John Relyea and Mildred Relyea. He is survived by: his siblings, John, Ken, Robert, Mildred and Virginia; his wife Helen Relyea; his children, Jason Relyea and Melissa Relyea Ossanna; his son-in-law Peter Ossanna; and his grandson Bela Relyea Ossanna.
