He is survived by: his wife Carol; his brother Watson; his sister-in-law Jane; his stepdaughter Lara Horner (Wayne Gray); his stepgrandchildren, Alicia, Olivia and Alex Gray; his stepdaughter Amy; his stepgrandchildren, Helena Munson and Tzara Kane; his stepson Christian Horner (Alexondra Lee); his stepgranddaughters, Jane and Ava Horner; and also Alex Kapp.

He suffered from advanced Parkinson's disease and vascular dementia.
