He is survived by: his parents, Ernestine Ober Smallidge and Clifford Smallidge; his wife Sheila Graves Smallidge; his daughter Jennifer Smallidge Mitchell (Robert) of Mount Desert; his grandchildren, Robert Lewis Mitchell, Jr. and Caroline Ober Mitchell "Calli"; his daughter Melissa Harris (Shepard) of San Francisco, CA; his grandchildren, Brooke Smallidge Harris, Peter Baylor Harris and James Owen Parker Harris (Jen); his son Oak; his siblings, Barbara Wheaton and Ernest (Barbara); his sister-in-law Marion Peckham (George); and his siblings, Steven Smallidge, Jon Bagley and Norma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
