Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parent Irish. He is survived by: his wife Ann Brigham Walker; his son Christopher Hayden McCann (Darla); his grandchildren, Ian Christopher McCann and Brigham Elisabeth McCann; and his daughter Michelle McCann Finn.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home (113 Franklin St, Ellsworth, ME 04605).
In lieu of flowers, we encourage a donation be made to the residence fund at Machias Veterans' Home, 32 Veterans Way, Machias, ME 04654, who provided such incredible care to Jack.
