She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Tonini; her parents, Jack Evans and Thelma Evans; her brothers, Jack "Sonny" Evans and Joseph "JD" Evans; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Butler Tonini.

She is survived by: her daughter Susan Howard (Jeff) of Johns Creek, GA; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Kayla Howard; her sons, David Tonini of Ellsworth, ME and Steven Tonini (Nancy) of Grayson, GA; her grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Cole; her stepgrandchildren, Stephen Hootselle and Jessica Holbrook (Seth); and also Calvin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mount Desert Police Association.
