It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Mylen (Mount Desert, Maine), born in Calais, Maine, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard F. Smith and Ruth G. Smith (Morgan); her husband Norman J. Mylen; and her siblings, Lois Alexander, Nelson Smith, Marjorie Colpitts, Faye Doliber and John "Jack" Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Sherrie Doyon (Maurice "Moe") of Winthrop, Cindy Brown (Lee) of Trenton and Jeffrey "Jefff" Mylen (Jeri) of Winthrop; her grandchildren, Matthew Doyon (Samara), Lucas Doyon (Rachel), Kaitlin Merchant (David), Jason Mylen (Maridawn), Gregory Mylen, Michael Mylen, Melissa Jo Cady (Eliot) and Jeremy Brown; her great grandchild Speca1; and her sister-in-law Sally Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
