It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Elwyn Sheldon (Morrill, Maine), born in Bangor, Maine, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Sheldon and Elwyn Sheldon; and his sister-in-law Lois Whitcomb. He is survived by: his wife Faye Sheldon; his children, Marcia O'Jala (Chris), Mark Sheldon (Ginger) and Michelle Perkins (Greg); his grandchildren, Jacob O'Jala, Gracie Mitchell (Brandon), Hayden Sheldon (Brooke), Olivia O'Jala, Calvin Sheldon, Camden Perkins, Isaac Perkins, Coltin Sheldon, Corbin Sheldon, Daniel Perkins and Marti Sheldon; his great grandchildren, Eben Mitchell, Hallie Mitchell and Blair Sheldon; and his siblings, Jean Whitcomb (Edward Whitcomb) and David Sheldon (Dalene).
