He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaughn Hurd and Geneva Hurd of Knox; and his siblings, Anne Mitchell and Howard Hurd, Sr.. He is survived by: his son Peter Hurd (Heidi); his wife Judy Hurd; his sister Maxine Hathaway (Clifton); his sons, Andrew Hurd, Jr. and James (Angela); his grandchildren, Mason Hurd, Griffin Hurd, Joshua Hurd, Mariah Whitcomb (Lyndon), Sydney Hurd, Vaughn Hurd and Sheridan Hurd; his great grandchildren, Addison Whitcomb and Ella Whitcomb; and his friend Robert Ponzo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
