He was predeceased by: his parents, August Anderson and Bridget Anderson (Moriarty); his siblings, Lillian Weidner, Marion Donovan (Bettye), Margaret Kent, Patricia Anderson, George Anderson (Bill), Harold Anderson and Dennis Anderson; and his wife Joan E. Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen Grade (Anderson) of Falmouth, ME and John A. Anderson, Jr. of Portsmouth, NH; and his grandsons, Jake Armstrong Grade and Alexander Vincent Grade.
