He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Basil Trecartin and Dora Trecartin (Shaw); his significant other Kenny Smith of Monticello; his children, Christine Grant (Robert) of Houlton, Nicholas Merrow, Hunter Trecartin, Destiny Hathaway and Story Hathaway; and his siblings, Thelma Harris, Maxine Ingraham, Evelyn Carten, Ola Foster (Joyce), Kathleen Lockard and David Trecartin. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and several extended family.
