He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill McIntire and Pearl McIntire (Gregory); his wife Lila McIntire; his children, Merle McIntire and Elizabeth Smith; his grandsons, Jason and Chad Bumpus; and his siblings, Merle McIntire and June Greene.
He is survived by: his children, Michael McIntire of Canaan, Deborah Stufflebeam of Monmouth, Sherrie McIntire of Pittston and Charline Horsford of Wareham; and his close friend Shirley Tibbets of Benton. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
