He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Douglas and Grace Douglas (Holt); and his daughter Rebecca Jean Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Douglas (Glo) of Litchfield; his children, Merle Douglas Jr. (Wendy), Wendell Douglas (Paula), Merline Douglas (Terrence Sturtevant), Carman Douglas, Noreen Dumais (Marc) and Peggy Gilley (Jeffrey); and his siblings, George Pease, Sheena Ouellette, Roxanne Profenno and Mary Profenno. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins and step siblings.
