Deborah Gatz wrote a sympathy message

“To know Edie was to know she loved Jesus. She was always there for you and emanated the love of Christ, along with great humor. She was a help to many and baked amazing food to take to anyone who needed it or to share in a friend’s home. Ever savvy, she made my wedding flower arrangements for free so she could use them a few weeks later at her own wedding to Alan. As a dear friend to my mother-in-law; I know they are rejoicing to see one another, now in heaven, worshiping Jesus face to face.”
