He is survived by: his wife Pam Thayer; his brother Robert Thayer (Bob) of Winthrop; his children, Cindy Pooler (Alan) of Chelsea and Dan Thayer of Durham; and his grandsons, Ben Ramsdell (Meghann Gipson) of Gardiner, Nicholas Ramsdell (Evita Sikelianos) of Albion, CA, Tyler and Ross Thayer.
