She is survived by: her spouse Woodie Sherwood, Jr.; her children, Wendy Erving and Woodie Sherwood III (Jenipher); her grandchildren, Nathan Peters (Delthea), Ashley Russell (Tyler), Cassandra Erving, Destiny Sherwood, Micheal Sherwood and Matthew Sherwood; her brother Harold "Sonny" Peters Jr; and her uncle Frederick Golding.
