He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Portwine and Pauline Portwine; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Carla Legassey; his son Brandon (Kim Emerson); his granddaughter Kassidy Moore (Garett Moore); his son Bryant "Bubz" (Michelle); his grandsons, Leo and Max; his brother Richard (Carol); his nephews, Jon and Andrew; his brother Michael (Robin); his nieces and nephews, Ryan, Jeremy and Tyler; his brother-in-law Bruce Legassey (Barb); his cousin Linda Hale; his sisters-in-law, Beth Clark and Marcia (Scott Gonya); his mother-in-law Rose Legassey; and his close friend Melisa Duncan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
