Mary L. Maragus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary L. Maragus of Millinocket, Maine, born in Oakland, Maine, who passed away on September 24, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Daisey and Ruth Zimmerman Daisey; her husband John; and her siblings, Joanne Tapley, Virginia Hastings, Carole Daisey, George, Bud, Jim and Linc.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Maragus of Norwood, MA and Elizabeth Veneziano (John) of San Diego; her grandsons, Peter and Mark Veneziano; her sisters, Patricia, Marjorie, Charlotte and Janis; and her sister-in-law Harriet. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Congregational Church or a charity of one's choice.
