It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linwood Roix of Millinocket, Maine, born in Presque Isle, Maine, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Roix and Cassie Roix (Adams); his wife Esther Roix (Shaw); his daughter Donna; and his sons-in-law, Richard Walls, David Murphy and Donald Guilford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Gaines (Ron) of Lubbock, Texas, Brenda Larson (Allen) of Goffstown and Linda Labby (Richard) of Millinocket; his grandchildren, Kymberley Maddox (Bruce), Steven Walls (Kayla), Shaun Murphy, Darren Murphy (Christina), Lori Olsen (Jim), Shannon Larson, Chad Labby (Stacey) and Marcus Labby; and his siblings, Elwood Roix, Barbara Brunette, Opal Marquis and Patricia McKay.
Due to Covid restrictions of a maximum attendance of 50, a private service will be held at 1:00pm with Allen Archer, Pastor of Beacon on the Hill in Lincoln, and Allen Hamlin, Pastor of the Millinocket Nazarene Church officiating.
