Judith Ann Pelletier Obituary

She was one of several people in Millinocket that had horses, and when the town decided that they no longer wanted horses to be allowed to be kept at families homes, a group went to Great Northern Paper Company, who owned all the land around Millinocket, to ask if they would be willing to donate some land so these families could have a place to keep their horses. Judy took the lead in this effort, and GNP did indeed donate some land which was initially known as the hovel, but soon became known as Birch Hill Stables.Through her love for horses, she created lasting memories not only for her own children, but for countless others.
